What we do

Services

01

Endodontic Retreatment

If a previously root canal treated tooth has failed to heal, you may have a second chance at saving the tooth by retreatment, non-surgically or surgically.

02

Endodontic Consultations

Dental examinations check for the overall health of your mouth, teeth and gums.

03

Cracked Tooth Repair

There are many different types of cracked teeth. The treatment and outcome for your tooth depends on the type, location, and severity of the crack.

04

Endodontic Microsurgery

In this procedure, the Endodontist opens the gum tissue near the tooth to see the underlying bone and remove any inflamed or infected tissue. The very end of the root is also removed or resected.

05

Endodontic Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is the process of using chemicals to make the teeth look whiter and remove stains and any other discoloration from the tooth surface. We currently offer internal bleaching on discolored teeth that were subjected to traumatic injuries. We will be expanding our services to include external bleaching on vital teeth.

06

Traumatic Endodontic Injury

These types of injuries occur largely due to accidents or are sports-related. The teeth may be chipped, dislodged or knocked out. Treatment depends on type, location and severity of each injury.

Testimonials

I was in Guyana at a conference when I started having severe pain under my bridge. I went to my dentist who explained that I needed a root canal, complicated by the presence of the bridge. I was thus sent to Dr. Wallace, one of only two endodontists in Jamaica according to my dentist who could solve my complex problem. I visited Dr. Wallace in severe pain and after some painstaking work including three endodontic surgeries and a new cap on my tooth I feel like a brand new person. Thanks Dr. Wallace for being a professional perfectionist. You did great work in my tooth.

The outcome of an endodontic treatment is influenced by the interaction of many variables. I have had multiple endodontic therapies from Practical Endodontics’, and all experiences were pleasant. I experienced no pain during or after my root canal treatment. Dr. Wallace is moderate and light with his hands; he always makes me feel comfortable. Dr. Wallace and his staff are very hospitable and passionate about their work. They greeted me the moment I walked into their office. When one receives excellent dental service, it makes the dental experience the highlight of one's day.
